I am very interested in building wealth and have read both Dave's and Robert's books. The thing is, I rest easier knowing I dont owe anyone anything, and I love my job (choir teacher) and have no desire to run a business. I would rather have less money, but be able to do a job I love and live comfortably within my means.

Let's use the simple example of taking the $843 per month for the mortgage (like in the video), but invest it each month in the S&P 500. $50k + $843 each month at 10% per year gives ~$2.6M after 30 years. But you have to calculate that if you don't live in a house, you have to live somewhere! It costs money. BUT! When we have a mortgage, we pay interest! So there too we lose money. This video doesn't show everything you need to know.

I think good analysis overall and very down to earth as well. I think though markets as they grow in size, they tend to start moving slower, cause well you need more capital to move them. That's why to me shortening cycle theory makes little sense, cause it's basically the opposite of what sounds logical (markets grow in size, cycles take longer). If anything, we will have lengthening cycles instead of shortening I think. It could very well be the top of this cycle, especially in altcoins could occur as late as in early 2026. I think last cycle was also bit weird because of COVID lockdowns causing both stock markets and cryptos to crash hard in early 2020, which I believe had impact on how the cycle eventually played out. And also FTX shenanigans. I think without those events in last cycle, the top would've been higher. Which makes me optimistic about this cycle. Not to sound overly bullish, but I think the top will be higher than most think. However, I also think it will take longer to get there than most people anticipate. Keep up the good work!

Informative. I’d also like to include selling options (Covered Calls & Cash Secured Puts). Roughly with a $50k account in the stock market, you could bring in an additional $750 - $2k/month. But of course, the caveat is that you must own 100 shares as collateral (or cash equivalent to 100 shares).

Such an amazing video... I have a diverse portfolio with investment in cryptocurrencies, gold and silver. But I want more, I would like to add low cap altcoins too. Currently the market seemed tougher on boomers. I on the other hand am use to buying and holding assets which seemed to be obsolete in the current market, plus inflation is catching up with my portfolio. I am close to my retirement and it worries me.

If you’re in your 20s or 30s do Kosaki‘s method, if you’re in your 40s or 50s do dave’s method. Or if you don’t like your kids do Kosaki‘s method because most likely he’s going to leave his kids a lot of debt lol
